Happy Belated Birthday to Me

It was 10th Jan, 2009, and it was my birthday. Hmm... I don't why but I am a lil sentimental today... and I feel like sharing some of the important moments in 2008 with our friends and readers here o_O"

1. Dar had given me a surprise last year that he bought me very lovely and cute smiley cupcakes, and it did touch my heart T_T So so so so touched...

2. Revisited Melbourne with my family and dar. We had a great time there! Victoria is simply the place to be!

3. Started my new job as a Business Intelligence Consultant, and it was one of the very important turning point in my career. However, it turned out to be otherwise... Anyways, let's not talk about it now.

4. I went for registration of marriage (ROM) with dar, and am officially or rather legally Mrs. Lee :)

5. Started a couple blog with dar since our ROM. Nonetheless, it is just an ordinary blog with very low traffic -___-

6. Went to Perhentian Island with dar, brothers & gf, and cousins. We had a wonderful time there. One of the moments that excited us was the finding nemo journey.
7. I have finally got my postgraduate diploma certification from Staffordshire University, UK, and have started to work on my final dissertation ;)

8. Due to work pressures, I made to silly and rushed decision, that was to cut the long hair that I have been keeping for 3 years. Dar was rather upset as I did not keep him informed on the decision made and action taken. I really regret it, now.

9. I got to know some wonderful people at work, the job is stressful and I am struggling... Perhaps I might give up one day. Nonetheless at this point in time I'm still trying.

10. Celebrated the 4th birthday with dar, and he had got a new cute mini lappy as birthday pressie this year, he named it 'QQ'.

Thanks dar, for the lappy, birthday cake and dinner :) Thanks to my cousins for the supper on my birthday! Thanks to all my buddies on the birthday greetings too!! Thank you for remember my birthday :) That's really sweet of you.
Finally, I do hope that my birthday wishes will come true.

Update:
One of the important things that happened to me in 2008 was I have got CHEATED by YogaZone (if you have heard of news on YogaZone bankcrupcy), darn! I lost RM3988! WTF!! Again, dar was upset as I signed the package without discussing with him T_T Sigh...

Melbourne - The Great Ocean Road

As promised, we will post more about our trip to Melbourne.

The Great Ocean Road is definitely one of the must-go places in Melbourne (Victoria).

Recognised as one of the world’s most scenic drives, the Great Ocean Road follows the stunning coastline of Victoria’s south-west - which is 235KM away from Melbourne CBD.

Along the Great Ocean Road, we stopped at a few places. For instance, Apollo Bay, Port Campbell, The Twelve Apostles, London Bridge etc..

One of the most fascinating spots we visited was the twelve apostles.

It has fantastics scenery, and is no doubt a heaven for photographers :D

After the sight seeing at the Twelve Apostle, we headed to Loch Ard Gorge.

And finally, to London Arch (London Bridge)

Along the journey we did stop at a place which mm's dad called it as 'Indiana Jones' and snapped some beautiful pics... We forgot what's the name of this place anyway -_____-"

Yep one thing we need to mention is the helicopter ride we got at The Twelve Apostles. It was our very first helicopter ride in life :)

Helicopter ride costs AUD80/person.

View from the helicopter.

Ain't it fantastics?

Are you planning your visit to Melbourne, too? Please consider The Great Ocean Road trip if you do :) Below are some information for sharing.

My Best Friend's Wedding

One fine weekend, MM and I went back to Ipoh for my best friend, Fan Fan's wedding. I really looked forward to the big day as it will also be a gathering for my high school mates!

All heng dai were ready for the challenges! The gang in crime sweared to assist Fan Fan to bring his wife back to his home :D

First challenge, Kit Kit took it. It was French Roll with wasabi! Hot, and yet Yummy!! Kit Kit begs for more! Kit Kit:" I want more, can ahh?"

Next was kopi kau -__- Look at my face and you know how 'kau' it was.

Then it was show time for Pai Pai. Look at him, he was simply too strong for the pumping ;p Not forgetting, Mouse and Kit Kit did help in that too.

The very last challenge of the day was no other but the 'Kissing Game'. It was simply an 'awesome' game that all of us enjoyed. We got to taste the yummy chocolate, as well as our saliva o_O! Not sure if it was disgusting or sweet?! Um...

With the help of the gang in crime, Fan Fan managed to bring his beloved honey home :D That was sweet.

Baby and I attended Fan Fan's wedding reception, too.

It was a memorable night for all of us. Congratz Fan Fan. Wish you all the very best in your new chapter of life :) Cheers!
